I decided to return to Ham Wood today to see the changes in the landscape. Its been two months since I first visited with Andy Blackwell, but this time I wanted to explore the wood further
I found it to be a desolate landscape on this occassion, it felt a very lonely place. Ham Wood can be quite dark atmospherically I find. Usually there are a few people walking their dogs in the wood, but today it was completely devoid of any human presence and I must admit it felt a little scary. I decided to walk down a new path, it seemed very long, and as I walked I felt increasingly uneasy. It was a relief when I finally came to the road and decided to hop on a bus home. Unfortunately the images I shot today with my 35mm Pentax are not very impressive, but I think the uneasiness I felt, hindered my creative spark!
